Not sure i feel strongly enough about anything internet related to hate it , plenty of things i find mildly annoying but thats about my limit.

One thing i really and truly do hate is automated telemarketing phone calls ARRRGGGHHH! half eleven at night... the phone rings... i jump out of bed and rush to the phone thinking it has to be an emergency at that time of night but no... its a recorded message trying to sell me the latest greatest must have limited edition strictly one per customer (terms and conditions apply) junk.

If only there was a fiber optic connection from my phone to their autodialler... :lasergun:

Oh yeah - and Women who hit menopause and freak the total hell out, take your money and freakin just split, leaving you stuck wondering WTF just happened but then still call every fkn day and try to convince themselves and you that if they scream it loud enough, it becomes fact that the whole thing was YOUR fault ...

That's kinda a pain in the ass too

It seems like over 30% of new threads at the moment consist of
"Hi, I have done no research and will not even bother writing a comprehensible sentence, please do all the work for me and tell me what the best laser I can get for [insert pathetic budget] is. I will not thank you even if you give a good answer, but simply ignore you and buy from some crap company because they look cool and I am a tool."

@brew. hey amigo. i totally feel for ya on the woman front. i'm not married but have been broken up with my ex for 4 months and am still getting her sh.t. But as the saying goes "can't live with'em, can't live with out'em"

@jaseth. I've always wondered about the possibility of avery imposing a rule that new members cant post until the have a 50 post read count.
or that they get their own section and cant post in the main forum till they get 50 post in the "new member section" it does seem a bit harsh, but the forum moral has been so low lately with the influx of newwwbs.

Tell me about it - 6 years and WHAM, the biological death strike hits and takes out everyone in sight.

This one's been a week today, and the "I Love You - Fck You - I Love You - Fck You" stuff has already begun, who knows. I have a pretty firm 2-week window for people who can't or won't fix their rectal/cranial inversion, so we'll see how it goes. :)
 
I am beginning to want mods too.. Despite the past trouble with them it looks as if we can choose between that and a permanently lower quality forum.
If it goes on the way it has been I will probably just use PL instead - after all I am mostly interested in scanners, and there are far less noobs who come there because of that.

I have been sticking to the "other" section mostly due to this...

...mods please? I know this is a beat to death issue, and I understand why we don't have them, but I think it is the only way.

Just checking as if they are not sent before next week I will probably need to provide a new address just to be sure they arrive.

One more thing I have to vent:
DAMN PEOPLE AT MY SCHOOL ARE TEXTING ME ABOUT GOING TO TOWN!!
Thank you for remembering that I still have 2 days of exams left.. ARGH!!

I like this idea either the 50 post minimum or a "new member section" or both. Seems like it will force them to look around before asking questions that have already been answered.
