I'm so tired of getting talked down to but people who have more laser knowledge than me. WTF I know for a fact I have more knowledge in other areas than most people. Do I talk down to them? No. So get off your plastic pedestals and act like a normal person. Your shit stinks just as much as the rest of ours. Drop the ego and act like a real person, and not like you're god of lasers. You never know, you might learn a thing or two.

Myspace is pissing me off.
I just try to use it to contact people whom I don't have their email's/IM's/phone numbers, but even this I can't do anymore..

When I try to add a friend on myspace who is below the age of 18 it usually says "you must enter this person's email to confirm that you really know them."
What kind of bullshit is that??

I've had this happen before but sometimes I'm able to send them a message saying "hey, myspace isn't letting me add you, it says I need your email. Could you add me instead?" and then they add me.
But this most recent time I tried and it said "This person doesn't accept messages from people who aren't on his friends list"

That kind of reminds me, I got in an argument with someone over wavelengths. He tried to tell me that the color red is the brightest, but I explained to him that green is most sensitive to our eyes. With no evidence to back it up he still argued. I tried use my lasers to compare, tell him that my green ones are much brighter, but even that didn't work. I should have had him look directly into a 1mW red and a 1mW green and then he could tell me which is brighter.

We were talking about Street lights, he says the red lights are much brighter than the green. But when I'm waiting at an intersection, I don't even have to be looking up, when the light turns green it illuminates my whole car (at night)

Lol. Who is this? Green is indeed brighter to the eye than red at the same output.

Its more of general statement. I dont want to start a flame war naming names. I've gotten this attitude a few times from veterans and n00bs. Its just a superiority complex, and it always come out when they are mad. I dont ask much from anyone here, I shouldn't get an attitude.

Bull Pucks... Prior to 1996 (before I go onto the WWW) all the info I needed
to design a new project came from Electronic Data Books and personal knowledge.

I think... in the past 5 years I haven't even cracked a Data Book open...
It is all available on the Net as well as the Personal Knowledge of other
project builders...

It doesn't take $$$$ to get that education on the WWW. If you think that
a Diploma will make the difference.. I can tell you the only thing they have
done for me is change the color of the wall under them.

I've learned more by experience and testing than I ever learned in a school.

Actually.. the most important thing I learned in School was...

You cant learn experience by testing if you cant afford to buy the materials. :rolleyes:

I'm a hands on guy. I can sit here and read all day, but it doesn't add up to much till I have the materials in front of me. :whistle:

keep telling yourself that TJ . do they not have thrift store's ,swapmeet's .junkyard's , and yardsale's in your area? ive been known to recycle can's for my laser habbit /sickness
