Nice video. One of Jayrob's phasers would present well, too. After all, Aiptasia is alien to that world.

Bring on the peppermint shrimp to clean up the remnants. ;)

Tried using my 1watt 445 constant run on aiptasia, and all it does is cause the aiptasia to retreat in the rock. Vinegar or Muriatic acid in a syringe works better. You just have to get enough in them before they retreat so they burn.

Peppermints won't touch large aiptasia.

this laser is one of the most useful tools i have ever bought. forget kalk paste, vinegar, lemon juice, joes juice...

the laser is the killer app for eradicating aiptasia. ive removed all from my tank since acquiring the laser, which was just a couple weeks ago.

one of you hot shots should market and label a laser for just this use as it is that effective and convenient.

The sad thing is, once that market gets exposed, everyone will be selling them a laser, so your time window after tipping your hand and putting the word out will be small.

I say death by snap, crackle and pop, a Blord 1.3 W helped me eradicate about 60 of these from my tank.

I just joined the forum as I have been told that this is a great place to find Lasers and people who build them for this exact purpose.

I work professionally in the reef keeping industry and I am looking for a 2w+?
Possible water proof if available? Along with case and all other safety related items.
I am a noob when it comes to lasers, but I am aware of how dangerous they can be.

Could anyone give some assistance with what or who I am looking for?

Thanks
