Hmm, I wonder if they are told to close their eyes or look down. I wonder what the power is. I wonder how waxed their helmets are? Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Either way not my team.
 
Looks pretty neat, looks like sport fans are starting to get into lasers now ;)

Looks like something Roger Goodell just implemented to verify QB's are using properly inflated footballs.
 
They heat the balls with IR lasers to over inflate the balls while they are being checked. Once they cool they go back to their under-inflated status.
