Aye . . . . I was 35 before I figured out what was wrong. 20 years of odd jobs and construction. My first wife thought that I was bi-polar. What I could do now with all that money that went to drugs and alcohol over those years :cryyy:

Mine either. No exaggeration, at leased half are either in streets, in jail, or dead from living the lifestyle. I'm glad I stepped away. Its not as fun, but domestication has its perks too. :beer:

I went through a really bad phase as well. If I had kept it up I would be dead or in jail. But I now have a good job and am happy for the most part. I look back on it and don't know how I made it. Just decided one day that I would not live that anymore. I now have about 10 years with my head on straight behind me.

I chose to walk away in my mid 20s. I went to college, found a great girl, and a good job. Then I got hurt, and everything went down hill again. But after 7 years I finally got back on the path. I'm doing good now, but could do better. But I guess we can all be doing better.
