Styropyros newest video, anyone beaten it/ have an idea?

Help, If you saw styro’s newest video making the best weight to power laser pointer, does anyone have an idea to beat it, either a heavy but such power it has a better ratio? Or much lower power, but so lightWeight as to the point it has a better ratio? My budget is 70 dollars and I’d love to build an idea you give me to beat his record, I’ll update you and give you credit when I show him yes even if it’s a 10mw laser that’s so light it beats his build I don’t care if it’s cheap, ghetto, or stupid, if it beats the record it beats the record and I think it would be a cool way for me to get into lasers and build someone’s idea that maybe they are too busy to try

Already working on it and no, without a ton of experience you can't beat it, Also you need a driver that is currently in design, by me. FYI his average power to weight ratio over the time that he took the LPM readings is 129mw/g ( I took the average because he used no driver and the caps were dropping down but seems to stabilize at 1.1w) The build I am doing reaches 140mw/g and can keep 3.5w for a solid 5 sec before dropping below 3w.

He is really smart and act stupid, but I can deal with him. He’s so weird his name is @editzstore on removed I don’t know the tag from memory but yeah look out for him definitely need to beat those numbers he said he joined styros removed and was going to figure out how to submit and troll you guys like he trolled us so watch out I mean his build it’s definitely really he even did a live demo with his camera on in a voice channel plus a ton of verification videos. I don’t know if you will be able to beat him but yeah if you I’m styros removed watch out for him he’s so weird man I swear to god

Using a powerful laser to play with any sort of animal is not a thing you can joke about, Nor building a nuke from a microwave. Furthermore really bold of you to consider yourself smart with all the shit you have said at styros..... Don't even try to deny that you aren't him. You are gonna make yourself, even more of a fool

Also without proof of those power to weight claims, I consider them bullshit.

Yes from styro's removed where I and other members told him to not troll and to stop making "jokes" like that.(Note: I am a moderator there). He generally just trolled and make "jokes" like those. I also love how he wanted to call himself smart in the post above...
Edit: He is now banned for continuing the trolling.

(for clarification, editz is the main account that got banned) Also, he was being an asshat in the #specific chatroom.

I think this sounds like a fun challenge. I can think of a few ways it might be possible to beat that record but I think I'll keep those ideas to myself for now. Why not do a little research and come up with your own creative solution?

I immediately thought of someone here who did a small higher power build a number of yeas ago. I think it was Benmw? or one of the veterans here. He made a li-po powered 445nm build with custom small housing, kinda zippo sized/style. The one problem with a light weight build is you are inherently compromising on run time and quality/structural integrity.

It's not just the jury rigged contraptions he makes but just the blatant disregard and care for the things he owns. It's like he's trying to mimic howtobasic. No self respecting hobbyist would do anything he does. But I guess it's our jobs to deal with the aftermath with the influx of new members posting.

Reading the OP post actually gave me a little seizure.

Mate, you ain't gonna get anything done with 70 dollars. I'm not saying it's impossible, but please do have some more realistic expectations. There will be countless fried diodes, burnt drivers and money spent before you have enough experience to make your own laser.

But, seeing the OP is just a troll, I'm not really gonna have any expectations for OP to get the big picture anyways.

Dude might be clickbaiting hard on youtube but how else would one grow their channel? Yeah his videos might be a bit sensationalist but IMO overall he is just sharing his love for Science and Lasers (One could also argue that his videos help to inspire kids to join STEM). Let's not forget that he actually puts in warnings into each of his videos as well. Its just a sad thing that his videos tend to draw the wrong kind of crowd, not much we can change about that.

It's your right to think that but I think that you are going a bit too far, Drake actually cares about his viewers and their safety, Unlike the content farms we are used to. He also tries his hardest to reply to any messages he gets from viewers. Tell me if you have seen other large YouTubers like him doing that. His videos are structured that way because they lean more towards entertainment rather than a guide but he still has dedicated videos about safety and good starter guides.
