yeah i agree! i would sell mine for a 15th of the price and it would be stronger!

I think that if you were smart enough to make the laser you would probably be smart enough to not
do something stupid in the first place. ;D

"The only crime is spending that much money on a 60mw laser." 60mW's pulsed would mean 30mw's average right? ::) Then again It would probably be under spec so more like 20mW's average for 2000 dollars. What a joke! ;D

Man, there are so many things that are wrong with this article. >:(

I'd believe it's 60mW average. After all, it's very simple to attain.

My Sonar-2 is 100mW, And I think daguin's is a lot more, of course. I do not regret the money I spent on it...less than $100 ;)

Anyone reviewing one would get it for free I reckon.

Frankly, I'd love one for free ;) They're a pretty awesome laser, just HORRIBLY overpriced, lol. I'd pay $100 for it at the VERY most.

Hmm let's see: 100 to 200mw Violet diode: $ 20 to 45

Energizer or Famous trails 1W LED flashlight: $20.00

Solder , capacitor, 22 ohm resistor, epoxy, and an axiz module: about $10

Building your own 100mW+ burning violet laser for less than $100 and making Wicked Lasers eat some serious humble pie: PRICELESS ;D

Or you could put it in a Kryton custom laser barrel and have a sweeter looking host for the same cost. I find it absolutely amazing that the Sonar's are roughly the same cost as my barrels yet don't include any way to mount the diode or a switch or anything. biggest joke in laser history.
