The Didoe is shipped in a tiny box with aluminum foil around the box.

Might be good to ship them with shorted ends, or have the foil conduct between the two leads. Moving objects can gather charge, especially in a box like that. A jumper will do that nicely.
As for that press. I think I got one a long time ago, and they're really quite nice. They sure sold out quickly last time too.
