No actually, I don't think that's what's going on.
These are meant to use the 3.7V blue CR2s. By lucky fluke, the 3V green CR2s also work, though at lower power. However, the 3V greens are operating much closer to the minimum input voltage of the build. So I bet that after 10 minutes the greens aren't actually depleted, they're just dipping below the voltage threshold that these builds require. If you use a blue CR2, even though the output is higher, I think you'll also notice run times that are about twice as long per charge.
Great work! Love the 635nm and I use it a lot! I find it is good to have several CR2 green batteries, as it is easier to have a charged one on hand... they run down after just about 10 min. in my use, is this an indication, the batteries are losing the new mah with age?
