SOLD OUT - Smallest / Most Powerfull 445nm Pens

I do have 1 left but its not adjustable focus... It has the same
output, 3modes and same host / size. The focus is preset...
It also uses the same lens, the only difference is the cap..

I set the focus on it to the smallest spot size achievable at 100ft or so..

They deliver a lot of power, but its for a short period. Finding good 10440's
can also be a pain so using one of these for a burner is not the idea...

If you want burning power for several mins straight, something larger would
be much more suitable...

Im not sure if I will be selling these again... But if there is enough demand
I will probably do another run

So, do still have the one with fixed cap (non adjustable focus)? Or was it sold out as well? If you still have that fixed cap one, can you make an exception to help me get that pointer to Jakarta, Indonesia? Please let me know the shipping cost and the total price. It would be nice if you do have new 10440 battery and charger with additional cost, just let me know if it is possible. :thanks:

No, no... It was from a different seller and unprotected batt's..

When I order new hosts I always stock up on batt's as well.. I like to throw in
items to my sales especially when the items take an odd battery.

10440's are not uncommon around here, but if a bad or crappy cell is used
in some of my lasers, they wont hit the rated output. If I include the batt's
then I know that everything is good..

The demand on the 10440's is high with these pens, and I dont like having
disappointed customers. I ordered some protected cells from both ebay and DX
so at least one of them should be a good purchase... fingers crossed :beer:

WB, just a wild idea. Is it possible for you to make some sort of an extension tube to hold another 10440 or AAA battery in between the back on/off cap and the pointer body? (screwed to the pointer body and has screw at the end for the back on/off cap)

I asked for this in PM. A 1 cell and a 2 cell extension tube. might not be possible to do 2x or 3x 10440 without modifying the driver, however to be able to do 2x or 3x AAA would be nice. that way you can choose, 1.5V, 3V, 4.5V using AAA. get full power with AAA's with the sacrifice of size. that would be a nice option.

Correct me if i'm wrong. say, i put 2 10440s into this laser. the voltage will remain the same correct (3.6v)? not 3.6+3.6=7.2 volt right? i'm just after a longer battery life

ahhhhh... sorry.. series vs parallel...

The driver is boost only, so if the length was extended, you would then only be able
to run 2 x AAA 1.5v. You could run 2 x 3.6v, but they would have to be parallel.

Exceeding 3.6v would be a bad idea. Most likely killing the driver, and possibly the LD.

The same type laser could be made with say a leadlight pen which is long
enough to accommodate 2 x AAA, but again, in that scenario only 1.5v or
even 1.2v NiMH could be used...
