Sorry to hear this has happened to you. I believe you could sue your ex wife over this since she got the house you shouldn't have been responsible for those payments. Sometimes women aren't worth the trouble they cause.

My wife and I are still very good friends. She is mortified that her actions caused this. Unfortunately, she has been "house poor" since we split. She really cannot afford the house, but is unwilling to give it up.

The money will be gone no matter what I do to her (unless I file bankruptcy).
I can make more money. Having an ex-wife with whom I am not constantly at war with is worth more than money. Ask anyone who has one ;)

I'm glad you view it that way- I know too many people who are divorced/ have divorced parents, and they just do not get along with their ex- pretty sad to see. The person you once loved enough to marry, you now hate. Just too bad :/
 
Some of you , who posted interest in these kits, have not purchased them.
If you still intend to, please do as soon as you can.

I sent you a pm asking this, but just so everyone else can know who got one- which pad is which input on the bottom of the board?

The center pad is the positive (v+).
The small tabs at the edge are the negative (v-)

You will probably have to do some light sanding (at least at the "bumps") for the driver to fit. It was intentionally done that way to ensure a good, tight fit

I just worked at it with a file for about 5 minutes, and it indeed fits nice and snug. Gonna go put it together :)

When I got that batch of C-6's in, that "new" brass pill was a surprise.
The ID measurements are different from the older aluminum pill and there is no adapter ring.
Lazeerer designed these drivers specifically to fit these "new" pills.

I don't now if *all* of the C-6 hosts are now coming with the new pill or not.

Ah, well- I am the luckiest person ever, apparently. I soldered everything up, said to myself *out loud* so i would remember, "blue LD wire is positive." Then, naturally, I connected the blue wire to the negative output. WTF, brain. tested it, nothing....cue the "ohshitshitshitwhatdidIdo" moment. Switched the wires (after a colossal facepalm), and it works! I thought I killed it for sure.

Luckily I've never made a mistake like that :whistle:

I *did* tear down a perfectly good $600 laser once, because I forgot to check if the battery was faulty :yabbem:

I was extremely saddened to hear of your financial and personnel situation. I have ALWAYS been impressed by your work. If you have any used/new GREEN hand held lasers that you are willing to sell - please let me know. I know your work is one of the very best on this website -TOPNOTCH Stuff. I just want another powerful handheld Green laser (I like the green b/c of the tighter focus and the strength to help with the range. I would be extremely pleased if you were willing to part with one of your amazing Green Lasers. You can email at home cj007sandiego@me.com - maybe with a picture or two of ones you are willing to sell, their stregth, batteries needed and/or recharable and a price -BUT ONLY IF you want to part with one of your masterpieces.
