Its as simple as replacing the rubber "boot" on the switch. Usually it's pretty easy to get the switch out of the tailcap, and you can buy replacements online most places- they are usually called silicone switch covers or something close. Also, if you cut the little nub off the cover (you will see what I mean if you take it out), they make excellent dust covers that fit right over the normal aixiz focusing ring :)

How difficult is it to reinstall the switch cover? My buddy handed me his cheap Snap On light to replace a similar style switch cover, and I eventually gave up after about 30 minutes. Lol. No one could get it back in. Are these any trouble at all?
 
I haven't taken the tailcap apart, looks to be simple, there's a brass ring that threads in on the inside, I assume once you unscrew the brass ring it will all fall out.
