Well, those links are for o-like.com, and are not CNI lasers. CNI has an extremely good reputation, and is considered one of the best Chinese manufacturers, outdone only by Viasho. If you are truly interested in a CNI, I recommend them highly.

O-like is not a manufacturer, and they do not sell CNI products. They do sell great products for the price, though, and myself and many others have had very good experiences with them and their products..

CNI is a manufacturer. O-Like is a retailer (but they do NOT sell CNI lasers). A couple of sites that DO sell CNI lasers are:
http://dragonlasers.com
http://novalasers.com

CNI makes top-notch lasers and are a very reputable company. I think everybody here would agree with me that CNI makes fantastic lasers and that they are highly recommended.

O-like does carry nice lasers at a good price but they do not compare in quality to CNI. You will be very satisfied with an O-Like laser, but if you truly want a excellent laser, go with CNI.

If you want a CNI laser, either buy from one of those retailers i listed above (dragonlasers or novalasers), or you can send CNI an email and buy directly from them, but shipping is very expensive and it takes longer to get them as opposed to one of those retailers (CNI makes them to order, so they don't just have them laying around).

Sorry for the confusion!!! I meant I was planning on buying either of those, and was basically asking if buying from CNI would be better.

Buying from CNI is cheaper than their distributors correct? I Know their prices are a bit higher than O-likes but I'm torn on where to order. Does anyone have a price list? I saw one in the GB forum but i konw it was almost a year old. THanks guys

Since CNI is our main sponsor i was more than curious about their lasers :thanks:

their products are cheaper than their distributors, but they ewill charge you a HUGE amount of cash for shiping etc, and so the price for small orders will be better on their distributors.

Just FYI, the cost in a GB from CNI is just a few % above that other list typically once they are shipped. I just bought a CNI 50 mW pen, (actual output near double that), and the cost after all the shipping and Bank transfer fees was about $105 the cost at one distributor about $150 shipped w/ LPF member discount. A PGL III 593.5 nm >5 mW was about $565 shipped Distributer price was near $1100 So, it can still save some $
I am looking into another GB from CNI in 4 to 6 weeks -Glenn

Hmmm I'm interested since you can use Beam expanders easily on CNI lasers right? I'm looking for around 300mw. A beam Expander and a new lens and lens housing sounds crazy. Do you think this would be a better buy than any of these

My friend would also buy some. He already has 3 lasers and wants more power. I'm guessing he will get to impatient though :) I hope o-like is still a good buy, would CNI specific beam expanders fit you think?
