Site Availability

Hi all,

Please comment on the performance of LPF this week in terms of speed , whether good or bad.

Any feedback is very helpful.

As a computer security professional it is my goal to ensure the Availability and Integrity of all data on LPF

I am working to optimize the server as much as possible

I have made some adjustments to YaBB to make it less resource intensive for the time being, so I don't think we will be moving to vBulletin quite yet.

seems to be fairly fast, could be faster though

is on comcast<blech highspeed cable through a very nice computer ;D on my phone it's much slower, maybe some mobile compatibility would be nice :

LPF has been down quite a few times yesterday and today.

Yeah, I have been working on this. Some additional backup features needed to be configured.

There was another issue with ads causing the page to stop loading which I am investigating

Hi All, everything should be good now.

Ironically the server RAID1 config resulted in downtime, but now the site has an extra measure of security if a drive fails on the server.

Please let me know any feedback regarding site now, anything-- either positive or negative, or any errors, extremely helpful
