Simple questions about Scanpro 20's

it's a bit ridiculous how popular these scanpro 20s are and how little information in the manual there is....

I believe the scanpro 20's are actually going to be discontinued, and scanLSP 20's in instead, as the scanpro 20's seem to be having a few quality problems lately. I was never able to get mine to run at 20K perfectly. What I have heard is the scanLSP's are much better.
