What I find really funny about all this as a Muslim is that burning a Qur'an is actually the correct way of disposing of a damaged/unwanted copy. I don't think there was ever any doubt that it is within his rights of freedom of speech/expression to do what he had suggested, but maybe sometimes a little common sense could come into play. We don't always have to do things that were are technically allowed to. I mean I may have the right to march around today on 9/11 with an Al Qaeda flag (OBVIOUSLY I do not support them, just an example here) and troll people, but I would never do this out of respect for myself and others around me. Looks he called it off after all, so he came to his senses, maybe he'll actually read one of those Qur'ans how instead of burning them .
