You specs show the diode at 150mW... That is outside the happy current set for longevity for a PHR-803T. Curious how did you come up with the output anyhow?

Edit: I took to long to post...anyhow I to assumed he was using a PHR... lol! what if he is using a 12x whoopsss.

will you just tell us what diode you used for this laser? perhaps more people would be more receptive if you would come clean and tell the specs...

I may not be a true pro, but Ive educated myself enough to know a scam when I see one. I told you its ok to make a profit, but we wont allow people to get ripped off.

Im not scamming anybody, i hate scammers myself, no idea how many times ive been scammed. Im a newbie and i have no idea about the types of diodes, all i know is that i got it for 110$.
 
OK, thank you for being honest.

In all honesty your laser is worth around $50. You might as well keep it. I'm sorry to hear you got soaked on the module. This is why we are so adamant. We dont like to see people ripped off. If you came here before you bought it, we would hooked you up because we all love lasers and we all help eachother out..
 
read post #35 Luffy might be using a 8x or even 12x the latter I doubt.

maybe he has an old BDR-S03.

Ok thanks for telling me that. Glad we worked things out, i might as well keep it cause its pretty awesome. First blu-ray ive owned.
 
Blu-Rays are awesome. Stick around and we will show you how to build better ones for cheaper $$$.
 
Nice to see this all got settled, but you should really read around here and learn how to put something together properly :)
