I ordered it on December 7th, and just got my tracking number yesterday, February 7th. On January 28th Eitan said it was sent and from his website it says I should have it by now (7-14 days), but just received the number. I feel bad posting this but it seems I'm not the only one having these problems. Even though he has always been in contact with me it feels like I've been shrugged off numerous times. :/

You placed an order on January Jared not December ^^ probably a typing mistake :)

Anyway , like I posted on my main thread , there are some delays going on. And I am doing my best to fill all orders asap.

I apologize again. Doing my best for everyone , I just get a lot of orders lately and it causes delays. Everyone is free to contact me at all times. I usually answer within 24 hours

Maybe scifi shouldn't accept payment until they have the materials in stock?
It took almost 3 months to get my laser. I was given a false tracking code to stall my complaints. I feel like I was fed BS excuse after excuse.
I don't care how friendly the seller is if they can't deliver in a reasonable amount of time.

I want to point out I cancelled my original order with wickedlasers way back in November because it took them like 3 weeks to ship.
I thought that was a long time, ha. Should have kept my original order with WL or just built my own.

Hey Joker, when will you respond to my emails or messages? Here is my story again... I purchased a 501b from you a few months ago, the diode has gone square and the power has been almost lost completely. Is the diode burnt? How do I remove the circuit board? Is the negative battery spring cap soldered in or screwed in? I'm guessing I'll be left to massacre my $200 laser trying to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "the diode has gone square"? It is a square shape or is this a slang way of saying broken?

Have you:
* exceeded the duty cycle (had it on too long)
* burnt things close to the laser (smoke got on the lense?)

I'm in the same boat. My order was placed on January 31st. I only just received my tracking number on March 2nd. I also had to inquire about my order before I could acquire that information. Still there are no updates with the tracking so I'm currently left in the dark on the status of my package. My overall experience with Sci-Fi has been rather disappointing up to this point.

I agree completely. I also have suspicion that I was given a false tracking number, and thus false hope.

In fact I managed to order and receive a laser elsewhere before I even received a notice of my Sci-Fi shipment; which was placed weeks in advance. I did that purely to hold my attention in the meantime.

Ethan is the owner of Sci Fi lasers. He is also a full time student. He got slammed during the holidays and is still trying to catch up with all the orders. He is a very reputable supplier. Please give him a chance and if you need to find out were your laser is contact Ethan he will get back to you but until you know what Ethan is doing dont bad talk him. He is doing the best he can. He is a single person trying to go to school and run a business and he been a very good member of LPF for a long time

You guys need to be patient, your goods will turn up and Eitan does his best to keep ALL his customers happy equally,
You will get quality product from eitan and you WILL have full support also AFTER your purchase, alot of other companys consider you low priority once your payment goes through and may not even email you back, But Not at Sci-Fi

The SCI-FI Lasers are well worth the wait

I want to apologize for you all.

Though China had a holiday since the very start of February till 1st of march therefore parts have been delayed.

I answer everyone on emails. And always keep you updated. Tracking numbers problem did occur too this month with many orders. It is also something I am trying to fix.

I do not know your order numbers as you post here with your forum member name. Again , if anyone need help with tracking his package please email me.

Though let me explain again that tracking codes takes time to update. So that is usual.

If anyone has also a problem with package not arriving please email me. I need to check that with the post office. Since package is leaving my door I have no control on it. All I got is a tracking code.

About stock and parts , I do own a large stock of parts. But understand that orders are growing and handling it is very very hard.

I am not holding anyone back , I got a few customers that wanted to cancel their orders after a week and they got their money back.

I am also always offering a customer service that in my opinion is much better than others. Some customers got their laser broke after a few days of use and I do repair them for free in case they did not broke them on purpose.

About timing again , I am working hard to improve it. I get your feedback in the positive way and will continue to work harder to improve shipments times.

email me we can check that. I do not know to connect your LPF name to your real one so I can not help lol.

Send me an email , and like I said tracking numbers update within a few days after shipments.

I agree there is a problem with the code and I am on it.

This was sent also to the States and took 7 days to arrive.

There is a problem with your pack ^^ and like I said I am on it. I do not have control over it. But I am looking to get answers from the post office asap.

edit : I will say that in public just to be fair with everyone. In this case if the pack will not arrive I promise to send a new one via Express method. FedEx or simillar. I got two more guys with the same problem. This is not something usual. Never happened before.

Please stay calm. And I will get it solved asap.

I ordered on 1-29-2015 and haven't received anything but a bogus tracking number. I'm very disappointed and wish I had never ordered. I'm going to start a dispute with Paypal. I'm betting they can't track my product either.

He did got a code and he emailed me today why it did not update. I responded.

And as I told him it will update today :)

I also more parts today so everything is on track. And on sunday more orders will get shipped out.

I am working on getting everything go faster. I understand the problem.

Lasers take time to build , and doing so while learning in the university and having a relationship is hard. So please understand me too and co-op.

And I will say that again , everyone is welcome to email me or pm me. I am not running away with someones money. And never did.

The problem a few guys had with their packages is being checked and like I said , if they will not get it asap and the post office will tell me it is "lost" I will send them a new unit.
