I emailed you about 30mins ago right after I got your email.

to be clear , it was shipped in the time I told you it was. There are cases in which I forget to email customers as I got a lot of them and some with simillar names. Please understand that. And if such thing happen email me again and again.

I will get to the bottom of this within 24 hours. I would like to offer $30 refund for the inconviniece. And if by tomorrow the post office will not get it solved and we can not confirm it , then I will send a new laser via EMS Express on my account.

Lazerer is even worse, they've just been ignoring emails for weeks. At least Eitan responds, even if nothing is shipping.

Brought from lazerer once in the past. Their customer email supposed to be quick. Try email them with other email domain chance your email went to their junk box.

Sci Fi Lasers - waiting since 9/2015

I purchased a Arcane laser for 375 Euro by beginning of september 2015 from sflasers.com.
I decided to split the delivery in 2 packages.
I received the body of the laser (without diode) by end of october.
I never received the package with the diode.

In December he gave me a tracking code leading to package which is send to USA, but I live in Germany.
Weeks later he gave me tracking code to a package send to Germany, but obviosly not to me or my adress.

After 40+ emails, I decided to cancel the order and get a full refund and he accepted.
I send the package to his adress by end of february 2016.
Tracking says it left the parcel center in israel on march the 17th but could not be delivered on the 21th.
He told me on march 29th he will contact them next day.
No update or anwer since then from him.

My apprehension is, he is trying to avoid to refund me.. hope this is not the case :/

I will keep this updated.

The owner is a member here - he will probably show up to this thread and sort it out. While these issues seem to happen a lot, Eitan does always make it right from what I've seen - don't worry! :)

Eitan - isn't there another courier you can use? I had the same issues when I dealt with you in the GB and it seems they are still ongoing. Perhaps the issues we are seeing posted here are just delayed orders left from last year/before you fixed the problems and you actually have sorted things out for new orders?

Eitan needs to just disable the cheap postage option and make people pay for EMS/DHL/Fedex priority or something. WAY too many shipping related issues and it's hurting his companies rep.

Yeah, it really doesn't look good. People will be coming here looking for reviews before purchasing and seeing all these problems.

I wouldn't drop that kind of money to end up waiting 2-3 months for a product. I could buy the parts myself, ship them to me then to someone in the states for assembly and still get it sorted quicker than that. OK - there are a lot of happy customers - but there are also a rather large (seemingly disproportionate) amount of unhappy customers - I had the same issues myself with the PL515 GB.

Eitan - I know you always make things right in the end. However, if I have the choice of going with someone who gets it right first time 99.9% of the time or someone who eventually makes things right 100% of the time but there's a 10% chance I'd need to wait around and e-mail back and forth, deal with non-functional tracking etc, I'd go for the first guy. Even if it means paying more for the same product.

Not an attack on you - just food for thought... :can:

You poor soul i feel deeply for you buddy since 9/2015 thats a record of sin for him, but with his track record i'm not surprised at all. For all the waiting he should send you one for free..Hey join the band wagon with the others that are in that circle. Well they say he always comes through to make it right lets see.

I see not much has changed regarding Sci-fi's extremely long wait times and the incorrect tracking number exchange routine even though Eitan said months ago he was taking steps to stop this from happening.
Eitan is a nice man and his lasers are decent but all these wrong tracking numbers to buy himself more time is just plain dishonest. If it was only being reported a couple times I would accept its just honest mistakes from being disorganized, but this must be the 12th or more reports of the exact same run around.
I am sure he will refund your money eventually but I will not recommend Sci-fi to any would be buyers asking for referrals until we stop seeing these threads nor would I order from him again. I had the same problem when I bought my 501b 18 months ago. I'm surprised people on LPF are still ordering from him TBH.

Eitan, Im sorry to come down on you but you need to get this problem sorted out. This person has waited 6 plus months now and given not one but two incorrect tracking numbers! Not good business practices. Not good at all.

OP- Check out Sanwu. Podo's lasers are amazing. I can't say enough good things about them and he got both orders to me in just less than 3 weeks. Very good customer service too. No need to wait 6 months for a laser. Thats crazy!

Running a business is a fulltime job more or less if you make a living on it, the prices for the lasers are good but when customers have to wait months for laser to arrive its not worth it imo. If i couldnt handle that many orders i would just cut down on actual lasers i would sell each month instead so that u are not backed up by tons of lasers and orders to send and manage its not an easy job if just 1 guy is doing this so ofc it wont work in the long run and we see this for many months now and no improevement.

We have talked by emails. I did not get the package back buddy. As soon as I do a refund will be given.

I am sorry we could not do business. But I can only refund you when the diode is back.

I never had the diode, I only had the host, which I send back.

Is it impossible to refund the diode first?

You had the host ? If that is the case then sure I will refund that part even today.

I still need the tracking #. I've pmed you a few times asking and never got the tracking. It's been 16 days since these lasers shipped and I'm starting to get a little worried. If you could get me the tracking that would be great:yh:
