Sanwu Pocket 505nm 30mW review (With pics)

Cool! Thanks so very much, Paul. :thanks: It's been a steep learning curve, but I'm getting the hang of it... I hope. Lolol

Looked back at this review. It's payday... Instantly makes it a time to buy one. Thanks for tempting me! I am not addicted to buying lasers, I promise... :o

Haha hopefully what I did was a good thing, enjoy your new laser. :)

I was reading through this and am wondering if that G lens needed cleaning. Also, did you try screwing the lens in the opposite side? Would have liked to see the pic of the splash you were talking about. Congrats on the 505nm regardless. Look8ng p8ke I might end up with a 503nm soon myself:)

Yes, you will. Also, keep in mind since these diodes have such a high Vf, you will need two Li-ion batteries for the linear driver. They don't shift much in wavelength unless they get very hot. Keep your run times low and you won't have to worry about a pen host.

Thanks for the tips, I tried both ways.
Both ways get about the same results, ending up with a flashlight kind of light and a dim dot in the middle, I doubt a piece of dust would do that, I feel like the lens itself is very terrible or faulty, but I got over that already, not even gonna bother contacting Sanwu about it. :)

Nice review! Haven't been in the laser game for a bit. Now i really want a lower wavelength green :/
