Hi GSS,
Thanks its a really nice host for a lower power diode build Its about 6" in length X 3/4' diameter . I thought the brass adapter would bring out some contrast .
Thanks you buddy

Sorry for the lack luster pics but my cam is old and I haven't replaced it because I'm a cheapskate, but on a brighter note I just received a convoy S11 host from Rich with a hefty copper heat sink, this is such a well made host, check out the sturdy battery springs and brass retainers, this one can hold a 26650 or 18650 or 2x 18350
Shown next to a S2 for size

The S2 has a NUGM03 in it but I don't have anything picked out for the S11 just yet, I would love to see about a 3w 488nm with good divergence come out soon or maybe an Osram blue to replace the pltb450b.......maybe shifted more towards 470nm............but I may put in a ndg7475 when I can't stand looking at it empty anymore as all I just said is wishful thinking. :D

Wow, I thought at first that sweet white powder coated host in pic 3 was made for a customer.
It really would be nice with a sky blue diode:)

Hi GSS,
Yes it was fro a new member that wanted it made in a white powder coating for presentations .
When I sent pics before delivery he pulled out and said it wasn't what he was looking for.
Nice guy really,No biggie its a nice build for a lower power 488nm beam or equal .

Hi Irish,
Thank you for the kind words that's really appreciated glad you enjoyed the pics.

Hi GSS,
I have no idea but it wasn't very nice of him . Maybe he figured he really couldn't afford it after ordering. But it will make another customer very happy no loss to me . I think ill make another with a brass tube and copper sink either in 1x14500 or 1X18650/2x18350 version. I just enjoy time on the lathe and milling machines quality time for me.

Rich:)
