That’s a thing of beauty Rich!

Enjoy your new Laser Shotgun, she sure is a work of art.

Hi,
Thanks guys for all your feed back appreciated very much. I though of some thing different. The Heat sinks are interchangeable by just threading it on.The other sink is a straight forward two wire that is controlled by the tail cap switch no side button. So basically you can change you WL of choice with in one host. I had a NDG700 I bought from DTR sometime ago with a N465 brand new ,so I chose the 700 for this build.
@ SGD,
Starting your today buddy..

Rich:)

Once I receive it and get er all put together...Oh man! It’s gonna be Effn sweet.
I intend to put an NDG7475 in it. I’ll buy the host. Then in a month or two I’ll squeeze off the diode/driver.

I’m sorry, I must have read it wrong Shotgun. I thought you were getting this 700 build.

Oh,well, I’m sure the one Rich is starting on will be awesome also, especially with a 7475 throwing photons for days. Looking forward to the unveil. Got my finger on the  button! :)

Hi BM,
SGD is getting a 2X18350 White powder coated host . I just put this 2X18650 up for grabs ..

Rich:)

Hi BM,
Thanks buddy I think it will be here for a while being that its a pricey diode build. I don't see many buying 700's or 7475's 520nm diodes. Between the DTR 700 module/lens and the Host well it will be here for looks.

Rich:)

Ah, so this has a NDG700 already in it? Have you tried running it for a minute or longer? I was wondering how hot the host gets after being on this long. These green diodes are not as efficient as others and, for that reason, I wonder how hot it might get. Very nice looking host, Rich. :thanks:

Hi Paul,
I haven't ran this to long maybe about 20,25 seconds the most. The momentary switch I assume is for pointing. I'm not a fan of burning stuff so I don't keep them on to long. But I will check it out to see how warm it gets for about 45 to 1 min. need to LPM it also. Been working on another job so I didn't have the time to test it. But I tell you this build is very bright as you know. I a latching switch guy myself , just needed to try my hand at a momentary side fire build.
Thanks pal..

Rich:)
