This one is just perfect, I just don't know how to explain better Copper where it matters most and the heft of Brass on the rest:beer:

Yes those were my thoughts also buddy, a nice Copper heat sink and the tube and tail cap Brass . For the size it has some weight to it. This should be great with the new 490's , Paul said they run little hot so the Copper is were its supposed to be around the diode . Thanks for looking pal.

I have my 488nm build in one of Rich's copper hosts. It works very well to hold the wavelength steady at just under 488nm. My 493nm build and my 502nm build are in 501B hosts with aluminum heat sinks by Rich. They all work very well at keeping my diodes from overheating and increasing in wavelength. Thanks, Rich.

Hi Paul,
as I was machine this host my thoughts were on the new diode , remembering that you said they run hot . So I went with a Copper sink with the brass tube and tail cap.
