Well i'm dying to see how he sets up a switch and battery board in a piece of pipe??
Hey Rich, at least the host is ready to go if someone else gets a 25mm module set up from DTR:);)

HiGSS,
Oh well I wish him all the luck hope he does well , thats costly 520 in a 25mm module.
Yes someone will get a decent host for fa 25mm DTR module FREE just pay shipping.
The best part is I enjoyed matching it.
Rich:)

I have a 25mm 520 1w module coming in from dtr on friday.n I am very interested. What do you have available right now for that? i love your work and would be so honored to get something from you. i really want one of your dual 18650 aluminum or copper builds if you have anything at the moment or if you are free to make one soon. I have been making my own on my lathe but nowhere near what your hosts are like in quality yet. im a big fan.

Here is what i made for my nubm 44 diode in a 25mm dtr module. I am still new at this but it has a decent duty cycle and never seems to get too hot even after i run it for about 2 m-3 minutes. My last 450nm got very hot within a minute and it was only 2 watts. I think I am doing something right so far, but I will let you give me some feedback. My favorite part about it is my oversized knurled focus ring. Its handy to use when i don't want to accidentally burn my fingers on the stock tiny ones that come with the modules. I feel like in order to adjust with the smaller ones I have to power the laser off when im using this 7w diode. With the bigger one I made it is no problem at all, and it so far has not even gotten warm for me. Please give me some feedback on my build, I am self-taught on my lathe and fairly new to machining stuff. I have a manual industrial 3phase chucker lather that i power off of a vfd. I love the thing but one day want a toolroom lathe with a leadscrew so I don't have to make every single cut manually. I am having so much fun learning about lasers lately and making my own builds. It really is a great hobby for me and I feel like I am getting better at making stuff because of it. Please let me know what you think of what I built so far and I always welcome any pointers that will help me get better at this. Thank You so much.
-Nate
