Then you continue to try to silence me by asking a question and then stating that you want it to end after my response to that question is given. I will continue to post what I feel needs to be posted, whether the OP likes it or not. It is NOT YOUR thread. It is "A" thread in a forum which is wholly owned by c0ldshadow. You "own" the ideas posted in the thread, but the postings themselves and the threads/boards belong to him. He is the only person that can limit what or who posts where. This has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with my perceived responsibility to the community. So much for whether I should be posting or not. [/rant]
There is no difference between having an opinion and telling someone what to do in the way you have stated it. The only difference I can see, from your statements, is the way you perceive them as being intended. The content is the same. What I have stated should be done [highlight]IS [/highlight]my opinion. Because I don't say it as sweetly or softly as you desire does not change the meaning of the words. Yes, I can be blunt. It is also obvious that you can be overly sensitive to criticism. Such is the nature of human interaction. So what?
To answer your "question", it doesn't matter what he does. This isn't about your customer. It is about your business responsibilities. I stated it in my previous posting. He trusted you to deliver his merchandise. You must trust him to be honest about receiving it since you did not make the package signature confirmation or insure it. If he is dishonest, you will lose the money for these three sleds. If you believe he is being dishonest, you can refuse to do business with him in the future. I've told you how I think a responsible business person would handle it. I've told you how I would handle it. I've told you what I think the results of choosing a different option will be.
This is my opinion. I am telling you what a responsible business person should do. If the parties in this transaction "escalate" there actions, it is not me escalating it. They may use my opinion as support for that escalation, but I am not escalating it. You get to decide how you will react to his demand. We ALL get to keep writing posts.
Your responsibility does NOT end when you place the package into the post. Fourty days is long enough to consider a small package "lost." If he is being dishonest (I am NOT saying he is) what will waiting two more weeks mean? If he already has them and is lying then it will not change anything. If he is willing to lie about receiving them after you ship the replacements (or refund his money) then it will not change anything. You cannot control your customer. You can only control yourself.
You CAN send the replacements with confirmed, signature delivery so you will not have to replace them a second time, but that option is already past for the original delivery. You can end the interaction by simply refunding his money. You can ask for a temporary reprieve and suffer the potential continued "drama" in the thread about it. You can refuse to satisfy your customer's demand and potentially suffer continued 'drama" in your threads and sales. The decision is yours. The consequences will follow that decision. This has noting to do with "me." It is how humans act and react.

Daguin if you came out and said, Tommy i think its best to just issue a refund, then i would polietly let you know how know whats going on, but you didnt. you just start off by saying "YES, Thats exactly what you should do" Sounds nice? I've never open my mouth saying to you if you have nothing good to say dont come into my thread, You told yourself that!! I've told you that, if you didnt have anything helpful to say, then i would appreciate if you didnt say it, to not esculate the matter. By you saying what you said or "giving your opinion" didnt help, and if it did esculate, you wouldnt know it!
Laser_Bee, I did tell him to give it more time, and thats acouple weeks ago, and if he has still not recieved it, then PM me, and i will resend him another. I've told him Soo many times to PM and not to rant in public as i dont want people to see this situation and think, 'Hey, thats what i should say to get another diode or whatever etc etc" If he handled it in a professional manner, then thats exactly how i would of handle this situation. I've told him if i've resent him another 3, that if the others did end up finiding its way to he's house that i trust him to return it back. But no response!!
These sleds are not exspensive or mean much to me, and like i've said, i've given more out to people then i can count on 2 hands. I dont think giving him another 3 sled will hurt me in any way. But if he listen and do as i say, then it would of been resolved. Somtimes i get back from work late, and have to answer 20+ PM's and dont usually go and read threads. So thats the other reason why i say PM ME.
I ask Daguin and Laser_bee personally. After he's creating all this Drama on the thread, all this argueing and tensions are getting hot in here. If he DID end up recieving the parcel, just say in the next 1-2 days, will you think he will then openly admit he has got it, or will he be reluctant to do so now???? because of all this?? I want your opinion, im not arguing with you both.
i have done buisness with Laser_Bee and i have talked to Daguin before, and i do have respect for the both of you guys. So answer me honestly what you think of my question?

SVDR, I have posted on the start of the thread here, that these are available, but i've also listed that i have none instock at this moment, but have more on the way and it will be here monday or tuesday the latest
