received RPL blue 15 from Jack at Optotronics Laser Products today

video is attached to this post. laser is a beast lol, no complaints. built strong, visible /tight beam (likely over powered although no power meter). slightly visible inside during testing in regular lighting, easily visible at nighttime outside

safety features work great

casing to hold the laser is cool. laser design is slick.

laser is an epic win. 473nm might be coolest wavelength.

sorry if this video doesn't do the laser true justice but i have a crappy webcam lol.

all in all i'd give this thing an A+. thx Jack @ Optotronics for great laser and quality product

best regards,

-avery

The RPL Blue '25' I got from Jack, takes some warmup time - 5 mins or so warmup; but after it does, 60mW peak, and stays there *for a while*. Probably does 50+ mW of 473 for over 10 minutes. Real stable, and, built really well of course, too.

Now only if he could get 457 into a portable. :)

How does the owner of our beloved laser pointer site NOT have a LPM? I'm starting the avery LPM fund!

I´m sure Jack has the specsheet for this. Should help a LOT to post average and peak output

One doesn't have to be a laser enthusiast to own a laser pointer forum. No pun intended.
