Rick Trent laser kits 3w 445nm

That's a quick burn !

Have you tried the pulse setting to see if the results are the same ? If the pulse does not adversely impact the drivers, I think it is a very nice feature.

Man you got any more of those for sale right now? I  Want  !

As I still on the list for the awesome price of $300? I have two of your's as well a 3watt blue and the red borg:)

Got my Borg 5W yesterday and it was sinch to assemble. It was just ever so slightly out of alignment due to shipping and it only took a few minutes to dial it back in. The kit came with fully assembled dual diode module and complete host. I was most impressed as Rick included two sets of 18650's, a charger, and safety glasses. Also shown outside the host is the plastic battery sleeve. I substituted a pair of 3100 mAh batteries that I already had on hand

The beam shot below was at an approximate distance of 70 feet down a darkened hallway to a black manila 8 1/2" by 11" target.

The amount of reflected light from the dull black target was enough to light up the entire hallway.

The cross beam pattern is simply righteously wicked :eg:

. . .you did get the top part of the host right?

Doh! I didn't realize that I had left it off. Note the images below with the top part of the host included where it is much aesthetically enhanced in appearance. In addition, the Borg came labeled as 6W and indeed that is what it LPMed at.

Just a few new images where I used 3mm spiral wrap to contain the exposed silicon wires.

I think it adds a bit more for the Borg effect. Eh?

i just got my first laser from Trent, and I must say he was very forthcoming, honest, and delivered it faster then I could shake a stick at, Can't wait to do business with him again =)

Charles

what if I made a 7.5w+ 445nm for around $500 do you think I could sale a lot?

If you could figure out a way to marry it with a Mag-lite host, I think you would have a winner. I would be in for one...PM me if you decide to go there.
