RGY laser show

it takes 1-24hrs for Youtube/Google to catalog the video for the search results... I personally like uploading my vids to google video, I seem to feel it is capable of taking higher quality vids. Try encoding your videos in WMV format, they are MUCH smaller and goo quality for the size.

one of my vids on google link below.

I can't post links so just cut and paste that into the address bar.

Things, that thing is just crazy ;D Stop tempting me...lol. I can't afford it anyway, but it sure is nice.

I always wondered how well it would work with sound mode. It looks like it works very well.

yea it does work well in sound mode, but you have to adjust the sensitivity alot so it doesn't respond to everything :D

I have a bunch of pictures but here's my favorite with the CL16RGY, DL-11, C-Genius Classical, and other various lighting.

Wow. I've been doing some research and a little price-comparison on eBay and elsewhere. I had no idea you could get into RGY/Di-chro three color laser shows for way, way, way under four figures these days.

The "China Effect" on all sorts of things is absolutely amazing... :o

Can get one even cheaper from mr Lanling AJ, he does us a forum discount.

Ps I still cannot get my camera to pick up the yellow well, this is still my best effort , the green seems to over power the red on my cameras CCD

That's what I gathered!

I have no need for such a thing at this point.

Of course, I have no need for DVD burner lasers, my greens, or anything else either! But I'm afraid to find out how low the price goes!

I put an audio connector in my Lanning unit. That way I run it off the line output from my walkman CD.
My yellow isnt too strong either but it seems swamped by the green. David Lanning tells me NOT to adjust the power. I'll see what it does when I cet it on DMX.

Mike, having looked again on my driver board , there are definitely no adjustment pots on mine, so I guess my driver board is different to yours, however the 3 labbys I have bought from him , all have a nice big blue adjustable pot on them, though I have not touched them yet.

Jase

they don't actually look like pots though, they are little blue rectangles on the laser driver board, an they have a blob of white glue over the adjustment thing. welcome to the forum cchhcc! i have a feeling i know your name from somewhere?

Thanks! That picture was taken before a club party we threw recently 8-)

Yeah I am on DJForums sometimes but mainly my interest is in laser lighting hahah. It's cool to finally meet other people who have lasers especially the ones from China. I've been using them for about a year and a half now.

Anyway, I have the original CL16RGY by SHINP and I just recently acquired the CL16RGY by Lanling. I was wondering what sort of discount you guys get when you mention it to him? Actually I got a major discount on my CL16RGY because he shipped me a defective laser and I was able to work something out so I decided to get another RGY ::)

From what I can see, the original SHINP has a better yellow. Also, the Lanling laser has some differences and I can notice a slightly less quality metal being used for the housing and such. The patterns in the Lanling also differ from the patterns in the original SHINP. I will post some pictures when I get a chance especially with fog so I can see for sure how good the yellow is in Lanling.

And for taking pictures, I use a regular digital camera but with the flash turned off. To concentrate on the yellow I take a picture of a particular pattern that has a strong yellow such as the three color laser sky. Or I take a picture of the patterns on the wall and it shows up like the picture I just attached.

So who else has a RGY laser?
