Hi All,

Review on the Battery Extension Tube From Survival Lasers.

SL-2.png

You can Pick one up Here:>> Battery Extension Tube<<

I will start off my Saying iam very Pleased with Survival Lasers Again. They ship super fast, "Received it in 3 days":p and well packaged.

The Battery Extension Tube is for the C6 host. It allows you to use 2x 18650 cells. Make sure your driver can handle the extra voltage that the Extension tube gives. "(This Will Not Work For the Micro FlexDrive v5 or the Micro BoostDrive.)" Your Driver Must support 2x 3.7v cells witch when fully charged is 8.4v. If you do hook this up to a driver that supports Less then 8.4v you will possible damage something.

So this allows you to get about double the capacity of the 16340 cells. Since for example if you are using 2x 2600mah 18650 you are only doubles the voltage and not the capacity. But because 1 18650 is 2600mah it is still more then double the capacity of the 2x 16340 cells. So also the capacity of the 16340 dont change but only the voltage. So lets say most 16340 sells have a capacity less then 1000mah. So comparing that to the 2600mah capacity you are getting more with the 2x 18650's.)

It is made out of 6061 Aluminum and Anodized Black to match the Host and i must say its RIght on the Money.;) The Anodize is down right perfect. As well as the threading, iIBelieve they are called square thread and it screws together like butter.:p Also when screwing it together, it does not wiggle around. So it is Precision work.:)

I can see the Survival laser Really cares about his Products.

So Anyone that has a Survival laser C6 Style laser as well as Yobresal C6 style laser or anyone that has a C6 style laser that is using a driver that Supports 8.4v, I Highly recommend The Battery Extension Tube for Longer battery life and have a pretty Unique laser with the Custom Extension tube.:)

:gj: Survival Laser. Another Great Piece of Work.

Here you can see the tube closer.

This is the end that screws into the body end of the laser.

This is the end that the tale clicky cap screw too.

Here you can see what cells that i have tested in the Laser. You can see that there is 4x Lifepo4 3.0v cells also that can be used to. Only if its 3.0v cells yo can use 4x. (do not use 4x 16340 3.7v cells as that is too much currant.) You gain no benefit using 4x 3.0v cells but it is good to know that the option is there. So from left to Right is 4x 750mah Lifepo4 3.0v cells,2x Sanyo 2600mah 18650 cells, 2x Trustfire 2400mah 18650 cells Protected and 2x Panosonic 2200mah 18650 cells. I also have 2x 2600mah 18650 AW Cells Protected witch fit aswell. You might need a rare earth magnet on the flat top batteries to make contact with the driver end of the laser.

Nice review. I love the one I have too. It is going to be great for weekend trips so I won't need to bring a spare set of CR123A's

Man, Luke Skywalk would be jealous! It looks like a light saber!
:) Nice beam shots and good idea. I just got a protected 2.6A/hr 18650 cell from Tenergy. I have an O-like 400mW 405nm pointer and a 1W pointer. Both use 18650s

Thanks.:) Iam glad you like yours too. It really is a good addition to the C6 host. Very Rare too. :) Nothing like having a pen like feeling but with 2x 18650's rather then 2x 10440's.

Nice review!
It was very stupid of me not to order one with my Survival Laser. :(
Now it will cost me around $50 shipped to UK including taxes and Royal Mail handling fee.

Tell us how long the batteries endure now with the 2x 18650 cells compared with the 2x 16340 :thanks:
