What I want to know is why your MSN messenger icon is nicely in the notification area, while mine always stays on the taskbar even when its been closed, sometimes even occupying two slots.

Run it in vista compatibility mode

I hate to be the uber n00b but how would one go about copying his/ her desktop into this thread? My friend wants to know .

Ah sweet thanks, that's much better. I have to say that was the ONE thing I didn't like with win7 was the way that was in the taskbar.

Yes I wasn't too pleased about it either lol. Speaking of the taskbar, I absolutely LOVE that you can rearrange stuff now. This was a feature I had always wanted

1. Press the "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard
2. Open Paint (or whatever program you use), press ctrl V (paste)
3. Save image
4. ?????
5. Profit!
