Got my 532 ebay pen in the mail today, so I thought I would take some pictures of it alongside the rest of my lasers.

So first off, I started off with some normal level exposures (slightly better than human vision, for viewing purposes)

5 mW 532:

Then I thought for fun I would bring the exposure time up to my camera's maximum of 15 seconds.

Haha that 1.5w looks like a death ray at that exposure. Damn I need a camera!
Nice set you have there. And the 1.5w is the blue cherry of doom on top ;)

Yeah I really missed having a green laser after my last ebay green died. They take nice pictures.

I actually just ordered a 5 mW 635 nm ebay pen so I'll be able to add that to my rainbow. I really want to get a low power 445 nm so I can take a picture with 445 along with the rest of my pen lasers.
Planning on ordering a 520 nm diode green from LaserBTB once I get some more money! :)

I'm seriously loving my 445 laser. Its near a death ray for sure! Those 3 watt 445's must be incredible. I have a hard time imagining a laser twice as powerful as my own when mine can burn almost anything it touches.

Speaking of which, forgot about how black absorbs the most light and I *might* have a few small holes in those black curtains from where my 445 was hitting them. :p :)

Ha I saw that as your beam stop, and that was my first thought. " must have holes in it now!"

And yeah the 3-3.5w are simply amazing. It doesn't burn anything your 1.5w won't, it just burns it faster and from further away.

And the spectators really get to see how amazing photons can be when you whip out a thousand milliwatt laser. The power bug has bitten. You will only get more powerful from here on. Then once the swelling goes down, the exotic wavelength bug will bite, then the gas bug, ( shakes head) I'm covered in bites dammit!!!!!

Speaking of bugs, a housefly actually flew into the beam of the 445 while I was taking the 15 second exposure. It made a nice sizzling sound.

Nice pictures.

Any ideas how bright that red is actually ? I'm curious to know whther the beam of my 80mw 650 will be at all visible at night.

80mw of 650nm will not be visible without help from fog/smoke etc. I have a 240mw and I can barely see a beam without "help"
638nm is much more visible and even then the power must be pretty high for a nice beam.
Not to say 80mw of 650nm isn't a good laser

My little pen is 5 mW. Not very bright in person. I used fog and long exposure times to make the beam visible in photos.

LOL I also managed to kill a fly with mine, it was a direct hit from less than 3 feet, killed it instantly and there was even a small puff of smoke.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing them.
