OH NO. In transit my LPM broke. Does anyone know where I can source this part or have any other solutions? I should just be able to desolder this one and put a new one on but Im not a 100% sure what to look for.
thanks

nope, youd better send it to me instead :p

IDK if its 5v, 9v, 12v, or what, but you should just be able to search "Xv DC power jack" or "Xv dc power jack plug/socket". you get the idea.
Hope this helped :)

I'll send you one for free if you can wait a couple of weeks.

The jack on there is a 2.5mm stereo audio jack, specifically the MJ1-2503A from CUI Inc, check out digikey part number CP1-2503AM-ND

When you replace it I recommend putting a dab of epoxy between the jack and the PCB to keep it secure else it will be a little wiggly. Also be careful when desoldering that jack, it looks like the pads are under a lot of stress from the jack being bent. Don't want to have them rip off.

Excellent, thank you for your response guys. I've got the part on order. They have two similar jacks available one mono and one stereo. I got the one denoting mono because there's only one band on the male end wired to the heat sink/TEC.

Alright it's fixed and back in working order. I apoxyed the Jack on and resoldered the pins. Thank you very much for the input.

Great to hear it worked! Shame it had to be fixed in the first place though :P
