Questions on these lenses.

it all depends on how reputable the source is.. they say "suitable" well a stock aixiz is suitable, but you aren't going to get jayrob g1 status LoL.

do you have access to an LPM? if so do a real review.

These look like the lenses that Lasers4U was going to carry. IIRC, they gave a slight improvement for red, but no real difference for violet. The stock AixiZ lens was good enough when compared.

Peace,

I have a pair of these lenses ..... they are acrylate lenses like the standard aixiz ones, with an AR coating for red/IR, so, it can improve a (little) bit a red or IR assembly, but cause more loss than a non-coated aixiz one if used for BR, cause the AR coating reflect more blue/violet than a bare acrylate lens.

Just for comparison, one of my PHR modules that shoot 98mW with a bare acrylate and 112 with an aixiz glass for 405nm, measure 91mW with that one .....

They are plastic lenses.

The PMMA is an acronym for acrylic.

The blue reflection usually indicates that the AR coating is for Red lasers.
