Listen to Trussmonkey, take the politics to one of the existing political threads - there are several to pick from. Would like to make some "counter" arguments (not necessarily provide an opposing view, just a different POV) and such but not here.

Guys, guys, guys. Truss wanted to make a thread where people could simply honor the victims of a horrible tragedy. Not really the place for talking about Republicans, violence, politics etc...

One person... Nope, it was 3. The mass media isn't covering what the people who were there are actually saying. Multiple interviews with patrons of the establishment state that they heard multiple guns, at least two. The description on how one of the guns was firing was like the rolling R sound, aka Full Auto... AR15's are not full auto and even when the trigger is pulled as fast as it can be it's still relatively slow compared to what was being described.

Now we can go with the fact that people under stress don't always have accurate reports if you want to, and if it was just one person saying this... ok

I saw something about that. a lot seems fishy to me. I've been looking into it, but I don't think I'll talk about it here as I dont know for sure and dont wanna get lynched by my LPF brothers. there is much to consider. my gut reaction is it's another attempt to instill fear in people to alter or control their behavior in some way. I suspect this is the case regardless of who the guilty party is/represents.

I will say I urge all humans everywhere to never allow fear to control them. that is the way through I think, never give into fear and they will have to kill you in order to defeat you, whoever "they" are
