Protestors use lasers against police.

yeah I agree with you idk why I said that. kuz when I read the comment above yours I kinda cringed thinking... god I do not want to be quoted for that.

Well so as to clarify, this happened last year at Christmas time approximately. A kid (15y) was killed by police officers thinking he was a terrorist of some sort (and not realizing he was a kid) shot him (one shot kill), and so riots burst of great magnitude! Many millions of dollars in damages, and was going on for 2 weeks in the center of Athens

If you want to see a few more pics 2008 Greek riots - The Big Picture - Boston.com

P.S the beam shot is visible due to all the chemicals and gas in the air (and fires)

The Government screwed up big time in this subject and let the situation go out of control in no time flat!

Time for them to have laser safety goggles as a part of their default equipment :)

Another one here o.0

Well, i hope none of them start to use a 3W or similar IR unit for this purpose ..... that can be really a bad thing, both for the eyes of the policemen, AND for the world of the laser enthusiasts in general (just imagine some idiotic lawyer that made a ban for laser in possess of privates, using these episodes as excuse ..... bleah :P)

I agree with u mfo :) and there is a new type of queer here, trendy wanna be fags! Well I am Cypriot so all the better for me!
More women for us :)

That's a crazy story. I guess that's another reason the US banned high powered lasers! ( that and the fact that a bunch of idiots pointed them at planes x) )
and off topic, Greece seems like such an awesome place! I am Greek i gotta go there and get in touch with my routes :)

Its nice, but the system here is totally "f"up... And tbh I think it will remain like this for many years...
Which is truly sad because it is a beautiful country, and with a little bit of care it can become magnificent, but... (and there is always a but) everyone is waiting on someone else to act, everybody whats clean and no-private beaches but whenever they go to the beach its like a dumpster has exploded on the sand.... the roads are no paved with tarmac but a mixture of tarmac and marble (we have loads of marble here , so its cheaper) which results in very slippery roads (good for drifting :) ), pot holes that can swallow a kid etc etc... i can go on for ever! and this is never going to change :(
