this host right now is my favorite. its housing my 9mm diode and it keeps it nice and cool. it's just a great host and the price is outstanding even if i paid more then what its going for now. might have to pick up one more!

i can't wait to get mine! side clickys are my favorite. i have an x-drive 1.9a ready to go and an m140 in the mail.

Same driver i used in my build but 2A and 9mm. do you think your pushing that M-140 kinda hard?

Does anyone know if the heatsink on these is deep enough to accept the DTR modules that have the driver hidden in the aluminum back half?

Yeah I left my whole module in the heat sink and removed the pill and used a rubber grommet to hold the clicky in place and hold my x-drive centered so it can't hit the side and short out.

Just got host on the 3rd. It has a good heft, and it feels very solid in the hand.

Picked up 445nm M140 diode and x-drive combo from DTR (with the 3 element glass lens) in the mail today.

I do not own a LPM, so I have no idea if it is putting out the 1.7W that DTR listed it at, but I am betting it is close, if not over. My safety goggles have not arrived yet, so at the moment I do not feel safe setting up for beam shots, etc.

Just ordered this great looking host and DTR 2W 445nm Copper Blue Laser Module W/X-Drive & 405-G-2 Glass Lens and two pairs of blue safety glass.... This will be my first real build and I cant wait.
