As a general rule: Greens without an IR filter output 25% IR / 75% visible.
So with a 150mW, you are looking at roughly 37mW of IR.
I had eye-discomfort burning with a 100mW green (25mW of IR) using just my Dragon Lasers red (Green-blocking) safety goggles. It seemed less uncomfortable with my red-orange Zonestelth ones.
If you can only spend $30 on safety glasses, get the ones with the OD+ rating (CE marking) printed on them: Zonestealth

Oh ok thanks a bunch :) i guess ill b getting the zone stealth ones xD.

plus i plan not to be using them much inside... im mostly burning stuff in my backyard..

The biggest disadvantage of the ML-7 glasses is the low VLT. Because they block a lot, not much light is left. The NOIR YGN is better for a greenie with IR and is EN207 certified. I'd trade it for my ML-7.

According to the Spec. sheet that came with my ML-7's, the VLT is 13 %. I don't seem to have that much difficulty seeing objects that aren't illuminated by the laser's light except when the ambient lighting is very low, or non-existent. But, everyone's eyes are different, so if you want my advice, buy the ones that YOU feel are the best for YOUR eyes. After all, you ARE protecting YOUR eyes, NOT MINE, right ? rob PS, GOOD LUCK with whichever choice you DO make.
