I like the photo of the dog best of all, I wish it was bigger, is that dog a Marine or in the Navy? I heard they serve for 10 years and are then retired, is that correct?

Yeah sorry about the photo size I had to cut the two bad ass guys out of the photo lmao
That would be navy EOD. His handler was a very close friend of mine sadly no longer with us.. Bullet (the dog) is though and I'm not to sure how long they serve for. I sadly never served with them, not yet at least.. Those guys are nuts lol

not a gun per se

as you can see I put my lasermax genesis on it, enabling firing from the hip at close ranges. think javelin from dead space 2, but without the electric/ exploding effect. this thing has incredible penetration power. it has more than twice the penetration of my compound bow, which is set around 50 lbs right now, and flings it's arrows at about 270 fps. this thing shoots them at 450 fps. quite the difference. had to get a special target for it, normal archery targets dont stand much of a chance of stopping the arrows

I've wondered about those, if I had the extra $$$ and if I they were legal to hunt with in my state I'd be all over one, but I do have a couple questions for you.

How far would you say your effective range with it is? By that I mean 5/5 in an 8" circle. Also how's the report?

I havent tested at as many ranges as I'd like, i'm having problems with the scope. I cant get it to sight in to be dead on at 30 yards, which is supposed to be possible. beyond that it will drop and how many millibars in the scope it drops by will obviously increase with range. the closest I can get it has my arrows hitting like 4 bars below center at 30 yards, and I am certain I have everything setup correctly. I returned it. wasnt sure if the problem was with the airbow itself, the scope, or the scope mounting stuff. I dont think they even tested it because they just sent the same stuff back but with a new scope. I havent tested it yet but it looks like nothing is solved. the laser, I sighted in. it groups pretty consistanty. when I got it back, I re-mounted the laser in exactly the same place, and i never played with the adjustments, so it should still be on, and looking through the scope, I see the dot in the same place, four bars below dead on. really irritating, but I love it otherwise. I'm guessing once sighted in it's easily as reliably accurate as you describe at 100 yards or more, probably not with broadheads though.

it's a bit louder than I had hoped too. about as loud as a .22. sorta-ish I guess. certainly louder than a bow or crossbow, but much more quiet than most guns. if your concern would be spooking the animal causing it to move before the arrow hits, I suppose it's possible, but it'd have to react fast, as these arrows do a football field and a half distance in 1 second. some lower velocity pelet guns arent much faster than that. the arrows carry about 168 foot lbs of energy

My 50 BMG ammo collection has grown quite a bit. Once I get a couple more things in, I'll post pictures. Hopefully by the end of next week.

Just got this rare Smith and wesson 617-1 target champion (1992). It is a .22 six shot revolver k-frame.

Only 350 made worldwide. It has a "nill grip" and the original grips and case came with it:
