Post Your GUN (PICS)

Quick note as Red mentioned the pre GCA1968 Marlin 22 LR,
my first ever firearm was a Marlin 22LR that I bought from the now defunct Service Merchandise Store's for a whopping $69.99 in the early 80's:whistle:
17 round's in the tube and plain as can be wood stock and I had a blast with it.
Guessing over 20,000 rounds shot and no issue's what so ever..
Haven't shot any of my guns in probably 10 years:( Do miss it..

My first gun was a Marlin .22LR as well. It's newer and not the greatest .22, but it looks neat and was the cheapest at the pawn shop at the time.

Edit: Also GSS, my guns follow the opposite theme. All but one have synthetic stocks.

I bought all mine in the mid 80's and i'm guessing synthetic stock weren't popular yet.
Wondering how much you paid for the popular Marlin 22LR?
So many pages on this thread but wondering if the Taurus Judge pistol has been mentioned?

I got mine for $130, but it's not the model 60. I think mine's the 795SS, so it's stainless with the black synthetic stock.

Also have a 5mm Remington Bolt, .223 Stevens (Savage) Bolt, Mossberg 12 ga pump, and a Ruger 30-06 bolt. No pistols until I get a permit. Not that I intend to carry, but I'd rather have the option if I spend the money.

I'll have to post some photos of my arsenal eventually.

Nice thread about guns! Reminds me of my late grandfather's '72 Finn Scout .22 LR we lost on a fire a few years ago. I'll be visiting my uncle who got my grand father's collection of Sako rifles right after I fixed the minor leaks and installed the smittybilt bumper on my Wrangler.

One of my favorites is my tiny crickett .22LR rifle with a little 4x15 scope. It's just so light, fun and accurate, very simple too, but the firing mechanism tends to wear out and jam needing an occasional filing. I'm a fan of long barrel rifles, and high velocity ones at that. I currently have a Savage .243, it shoots like 3800fps 58gr, though I like .223, this just shoots way flatter. Its great for long distance exploding targets as they need high velocity to reliably blow. Phone books are my favorite on exploding targets.

I also blew up a giant ball (Fuff chair) full of recycled foam scraps.

That's a fun blowing up!

THANKFULLY guns are banned in my country.

You could get a gun if you go through the trouble of being an active member of a gun club.

Getting a gun isn't as easy as in the US though.

You can't exactly go to REMA 1000 and buy a gun over the counter :yh:

In most of the non-tyranny states, you can take your gun home the same day you clear your NICS 4473. Criminals don't go through legal channels though.

You went back to page 1 to find something to argue about, did you not see where other members said on page 1 that this thread is not for legal debate but for sharing pics? That was in response to the very same statement by Grix that you quoted from page 1, stop acting like a troll.

----EDIT----

BlindMeBro helped get the last thread he trolled in closed - http://laserpointerforums.com/f53/problems-left-eye-101399-7.html#post1495310

I'm admittedly a n00b here, so you would think you would cut me some slack.

If posting constructively, but marginally on the wrong topic, looks like trolling to you then maybe you have a problem here, not me.

I wasn't going to respond to you at all, but your reply to the post by Grix that he posted over 7 years ago, SEVEN YEARS AGO, yes 7...over seven years ago read : " Thank God guns are banned in my country ", so why the hell would he care to hear about how to own one?

Your reply was as ignorant as it could be if you are in fact an ignorant noob, but even an ignorant noob can see the comment is over 7 years old, and your reply was stupid because Grix is obviously not interested in owning a gun.

I call BS, unless you truly are both an ignorant noob and a very stupid one at that.

Try to understand I use the words ignorant and stupid as descriptive terms based on your post, not as insults, as being ignorant is not knowing something and being stupid is telling someone who posted 7 years ago that they don't like guns how to own a gun.

I appreciate you feedback. I'm glad I'm never going to know you personally because you obviously enjoy abusing people.
