My new ride

photo-16.jpg

98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Spyder. Turbocharged 2.0L 4 cylinder engine, rated 210hp factory at 9-11psi. I'm running around 22psi boost :D

Has the typical supporting mods, upgraded turbo, suspension, etc. Put in a double-DIN Eclipse brand navigation with some nice Boston components up front, Eclipse Class-D amps and a sweet semi-custom-made slim mount subwoofer that takes up all of about 0.5cu ft and runs about 500W. It's a fun car, much better than the 'ol Civic.

2001 Saab 9-5
2.3L Turbocharged 4 cylinder, I think it's something like 200hp.

It's all stock, and it's hella fun to drive. I consider myself quite lucky that my stepmom lets me drive it all the time. :) I just want one of the new ones for my own...

I just got a 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. The image below is stock photography but this is what it looks like except the paint is black and it has tubular steel side steps.

I got a new "car" Tuesday night. I should have taken pictures before I shoved it in the garage but I wasn't thinking about it at the time...

It's a rust free 85 Blazer! No engine or transmission though, and my garage is on a hill. There was a lot of pushing and shoving, but eventually I got tired of that so I used the other blazer to shove it in the garage.

You can see "Rusty" in this picture. I've nicknamed the 85 "Musty" since it had a pack of something living in the back for a while. So I've got Rusty and Musty!

Eventually I'll take the body off of Musty and put it on Rusty's frame. I still need to find all of my V8 swap parts first though.

Can you believe my little 2.8L V6 Blazer pulled this thing 80 miles on a car Dolly? I had extreme doubts that I would make it home alive, but I was cruising along at 55 the whole way home. Never underestimate a Blazer ;)

That's a serious rig you got there  Might be able to haul your entire optical table across the continent with that bad boy :D

... So I've got Rusty and Musty!
Lol ;)
So it looks like you'll have to put down your soldering gun and pick up your arc welder for a few weeks / mths / ...yr? But teasing aside, good luck getting your dream Blazer back to tip-top :)

Ahh, I'll be welding like crazy at some point in time, probably not for a few months though. It's too damn cold out! I'm going to try and make and weld a full custom 4 link for the rear, and I might try to make my own tubular front control arms. (Working at a machine shop has it's benefits!) Torsion bars suck for ride quality, I'd much rather have coilovers!

I've defiantly got my hands full between Lasers, CNC machining, and Blazers. My wallet doesn't seem to stay full though!

1997 Volkswagen GTi Drivers Edition. Under the hood.. VR6 with 2.9l clone intake manifold, aFe cold air intake, Eurospec lightened flywheel, Eurospec catback exhaust with magnaflow muffler. Not anything too incredible but it makes me pretty happy.

Different headlights are on the car now. And the mercedes wheels in the picture have been sold as well. Rolling on stock wheels at the moment waiting to purchase new wheels for this years show season.

2006 cobalt SS Supercharged.

3.0 Intense pully
