Post a picture of yourself!

hello!
If i use googles i can´t adjust the laser becouse i didn´t see it.
And if i adjust it, i do it on lower power (only not if it isn´t possible) .i have the analogue blanking, so a google is useless. Pointly the most googles aren´t conform with the eu right, so still the googles you use aren´t mostly that save than you think.
And a right, certified google cost arround 400eur, still you didn´t need only one.
Greets,
phil

wut?!

EDIT: On topic, this was me a few months ago during my Finals. One of the younger chaps on the forum. :)

I think he meant GOGGLES to GOOGLES...

@Philip.... you will need to do some reading about Laser Safety GOGGLES
on the Forum to get an Idea of what is availlable and what works for the
Laser wavelength that you want to use...

Laser Safety GOGGLES reduce the Laser's output... but you can still
see the Laser's beam for adjustment/focusing...

If your Laser GOGGLES cut 100% of your Laser's beam... you could save
a lot of money by using a piece of cardboard between you and the Laser
beam....

Most laser goggles do not block 100% so you can still work with the light (that's what they are for)

However, most burns over the optic nerve do block 100% of ALL light from being perceived.

Maybe you have socialized medicine where you are from so it doesn't matter, eh?

Peace,
dave

Where are your Goggles man !

No need for them if everything is bolted to a metal plate and any mirrors that could reflect direct beams are epoxied to mirror mounts which are also bolted to a metal plate.

EDIT: plus, you try aligning beams perfectly when you can't see shit ;)

Yeah that was a 18th birthday present. I drew it myself, but I hate it. It's too cliche.

Are you part Indian Dave? It looks unfinished, is it a work in progress?

My grandfather was Blackfoot. The only real information we have about him is an old letter in which my great grandmother talked about "that damned indian boy" who, apparently, didn't understand the value of using condoms when "dating" a white girl. LOL!

My father was put up for adoption and the line info died.

The tattoo is finished. It is just old, some of the lines are quite subtle (especially in the "grandfather" in the clouds portion), and my photographic skillz suck ;)

The "grandfather" is a Marie Buchfink piece. I have a 2'x3' print of it in my dining room. I also have a couple more of her pieces on my chest. The mesas are drawn freehand. The "band" is actually a copy of the first choker I made as an adult. The feathers are just some stock flash. The band goes all the way around and is "tied" on the under side of my arm. Do NOT get the underside of your arm tattooed. It is a biotch!

Some "classic" work

That's cool Dave. You should get it re-inked. I have my nick name on my other arm and that's it. I can never make up my mind what I want. I almost steel wooled the reaper the next day after I got it.

Nothing but Nazis, bikers, perverts, and drunks/drug addicts in my family line. That and my father and grandmother committed suicide the year I was born. Hence the Grimm reaper. After my mother passed I dis-owned my whole family in 2003. I'm actually the white sheep of the family LOL.

Lol badass pic that's all I can say. I'm just eatin in Hawaii, btw if anyone goes to maui I'll tellem where to eat good (cheap food or where locals eat)

I'm going back to Hawaii in July, 2010. I'll be on Oahu for the most part, but I'm going to do a little bit of island hopping, and Maui is definitely on my list. I'm thinking if I should hit up Molokai or Kauai also when I go back. I was in Oahu in July for two weeks, and I am in love with the place. I am hell bent on moving out there. So yeah, tell me where to eat good because I hear Maui is where all of the food's at ;)

I just strolled over on the same thread on the vets section...
