This week I got a very lightly used laser projector (Casa CTL-HM) to go along with a Chauvet Obey 40 DMX controller which I have purchased in anticipation of getting a more sophisticated projector (LK-PD2) from Hakzaws GB #4. I hope to have that unit in the next two weeks. I have studied the manuals of both units this week, and have been playing with them in my dining room to learn how to what can be done with a projector controlled by DMZ, and how to make it do what I want. I learned the basics and I was impressed on what could be done. Last night I brought the units in my garage with some hand helds, mirrors, and my fog machine. Holy Shit! I could not believe how intense it was photographing this stuff. Here are a few of the pics using the projector with hand helds, and some with only the projector. I can' wait to get the better unit from Hak and slave the two units together in conjunction with my hand helds. Enjoy.

Dang, now I want a projector......I hate looking at your threads, it just costs me more $$$$$ :(

Epic pics! The star centred beam shots are my favourites, either way one or two wavelength colour streams. Needles to say, the black hole/square dimensional patterns look awesome as well.

Once you get your hands on the more advanced projector, Bruce, you'll be unstoppable at producing variable combinations:).

:gj: and have this year's Christmas spirit equipped with some solid laser beams never seen before!

THATS

THAT WHAT IIMA TALKING ABOUT!!
These pics are how they should look- in many cases I say that most pics do not do justice to the look in person- but bruce has found a way to nail it-- next week when he has a new LK PD2 I predict we will see even better shots!!

More importantly tho about the beams is Bruces skill with DMX -- before I had time to mess with DMX I had already started buying software and was thinking that DMX would not cut it... I can see now i was wrong and at a fractiion of the price for LSX or QS a used DMX controller does a lot more than I expected-- and we have Bruce here to help some.. these pics deserve a reward and a haklumia kit will be sent out asap-

A link to this thread will go into any future PJ GBs I host-- I wish my pics looked that good- these are sharp , very well focused and very much like what we can expect to see in person-- +5 to Bruce when system allows--

TY Bruce!!!
