when I started this thread I was not totally aware that a
permanent thread and a sticky were the same things (DUH?)
The 'same' one has been very active at the lasershow forum I felt we needed one here..

Guess I was right-- The sharing of good finds shows how great the members here are..
We are more alike,
Than different.

Whenever you can, attend a LEM--- The vibe at these is great-- it is refreshing to be around SO MANY people with NOBODY asking ...'why lasers'?
or 'Why do you need more than one?'

I doubt it is a real spectrometer brand name. It is likely made from another spectrometer and called this for now. I suppose it could be one of the B&W Tek ones, but I cannot be certain.

Surprisingly sturdy laser housing with an M9x0.5 barreled lens, 120mw of direct 520nm, can't beat the price.

Note: Was 105mw with factory lens, 120mw after swapping out for a G8, I needed to drill and tap the lens holder about 5mm deeper to accommodate the G8.

I tried to get in there to do an adjustment on the blue and greens, but everything is glued down. I don’t think I can get the glue off to adjust it. The alignment isn’t terrible, but I do wish I could tweak it just a touch.

Anybody know where to get that uv cure white glue used to secure the optics in that pic? I tried a R+G / Y build but the dichros would move as the epoxy cured. I always see this white glue but cannot find any.

I use CRL UV604 and JB Superweld.
They both cure as clear/transparent.

thanks... ill give those a try. id still like to know which one that white glue is if anybody knows. Ive seen it from my greenie pointers to dpss labbies and coherent sealed modules.
