Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Haven't those been discussed fairly extensively before?

Alaskan, would you be up for voluntary vetting by one of trusted members?

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Lol, no worries. :p

Some people don't like to give away too much info on the internet. But if you are not asking for personal information then it shouldn't be a problem.

As for those drivers, I have no experience with them myself.

Here's a 300 mW RGB laser with driver and separate TTL inputs for $49.98 on eBay.
Link: www.ebay.com/itm/372132880223

You can also get the same one on Laserlands website: www.laserlands.net for $46.00, which is what I ended up doing. It takes a +12 volt supply to run it and my plans are to build a three channel square wave generator that has adjustable pulse width and P-P of +5 volts. This should allow me to have incremental adjustment of all three colors.

Good find
That RGB from Laserlands for $49 including shipping is the same RGB module as reseller Tommy entertainment only bogus Pocket LPM, is selling, at $89 here without shipping https://laserpointerstore.com/laser-modules/rgb-white-laser-module-with-ttl
LOL Shows his true colors--typical bandit reseller from you know where

Not sure if this is the best place for this question, but maybe someone has some advice for this noob.

Am looking at buying two of:

IPG Photonics 970nm 60W-100W Laser Diode Integrated Collimator, Reinforced Fiber

for $1700 each. Worth it? Overpriced?

Figure they'd maybe be a part of a future ytterbium pumped something...

Thanks!

Thats not a bad deal for the multiline ILT on PL - I already have enough of the things, otherwise I'd offer to buy it. :P

I looked that RGB module few days ago also, surprisingly it looks that there is some sort possibility to adjust dichros..

I saw that too, ArcticDude. Seems like something I can modify and get more power out as well. For $46.00, it seemed like a hell of a good deal. Will see when it gets here.

Nice! Definitely could be worth buying if it does have adjustable optics. Nice to see one of these that looks like it may have been done properly for a change.

I'd sure like to see what is inside one of those.

This is so cheap, I'm thinking of buying a bunch of them: https://www.ebay.com/itm/300mW-Whit...bined-by-520nm-638nm-450nm-Laser/142560755580

I know, it was posted here before, but I don't think the price was this low.

It looks good, but I don't think it comes with a driver. The first picture has a different driver than the fifth one does. The driver in the first is not adjustable. I'd ask some questions before buying. :undecided:
