Sure is... I decided to just deal with the guy on a one-on-one between him and I. Did you want me to add you to my order?

Although... I will be getting other things from there that are supposed to take until the end of the month at the earliest to get done. I could ship the PBS cubes over to you once I get them if you like :)

I don't want to order more than I have but I can't tell where the GB over there is going. I have difficulty reading Bridge's posts.

I don't know whether to $h1t or go blind on that GB for the cubes. I went to Bridge's site and didn't find many"goodies" .... Guess I'll take a red cube if you order -- I can't figure out the PL GB.

Just one? I'm getting one red and one blue (in case I decide to mix blue lasers in the future... ::) Ya right!! If I win the lottery maybe ;D).

If anyone else is interested let me know... these are PBS cubes used for combining laser beams and come in red and blue. They have green too, but the demand is very low and making a single unit is very tedious. They are $30 each and then whatever the shipping to me, and from me will be :) This is the best deal anyone can get on a cube as such, honestly! I'm buying it because I couldn't possibly find a better deal no matter what! Even if I decide to sell it on eBay later on I could still make a profit ;)

Why do you need to use polarizing beamsplitting cubes? wouldnt it be cheaper to use regular beamsplitting cubes and lose half of your power? Do the lasers that you are combining have opposite linear polarizations? Or are you also going to be using half waveplates to rotate the polarization?

Are these lasers even polarized at all. I know the diode lasers are but do the green ones have something in them that kills the gain of one of the polarizations?

How would losing hald your power be cheaper? :-/ Wouldn't it be better to just use one laser source than to get the same effect with two laser sources each losing half power during combining?

For combining reds, they just need to have one diode rotated 90 degree to the other. A few people do this over at photonlexicon.

I'm guessing the deal is mostly for combining red. Blue... maybe someday if those diodes become cheap. A brewster window in the cavity would fix the problem with green, although I don't think that was the intention.
 
I thought your were just trying to make a neat color, not combine the power is why I thought throwing away half the power would be easier.

The main problem, which might not be a problem, is that the beam will have 2 different polarizations, it depends on what you are doing with it. Usually polarizing beam splitting cubes are pretty expensive. Like hundreds of dollars. It is pretty interesting that they sell ones that are that cheap.

Something i just remembered is that they use polarizing beam splitting cubes in those bluray drives. I wonder if they use them in DVD burners too?

The GB is by myself, and is for the PBS cubes at $30 a piece (AMAZING DEAL) and come coated for red or for blue (one or the other for each cube). They're nice for mixing the output of 2 red lasers to produce a neat, double-power, red beam :)

If the GB for the Phazer diodes goes through as well (in the works and figuring out the fine details now), along with these, a 400mW red beam is not too difficult to obtain ;)

Daedal....STOP...lol....I am spending too much money on all this stuff.... :P Maybe I will get one...when will this GB end?
 
Since I am getting other things from them as well... and they need till the end of the month for stock, that is the round-about for when this will be in.

I'll cover most of the shipping, so we'll just have to put together the arrangements for individual shipping arrangements. :)
