Outdoor Fog and Bluray

As a follow up to my last pic thread which was my CNI 150 and fog which is here, I thought I'd do a similar thread with my new blu ray.

I've decided that my camera doesn't really like taking pictures of this laser so these are the best I could get. I tried doing some funky diffraction stuff but the camera just couldn't see it

yea... the more the better.... ive been able to see my 200mw red hit the clouds with a little fog before

Awsome pics! I wish it would fog here so bad. :'( But then again, I don't have and lasers at the moment except my 5mW red, which is currently lost...

We got fog tonight for the first time since I built my blu-ray! Awesome! I got some pretty cool shots I want to post, but I don't know how to post more than one image at a time. Any help?

You have to have your pictures "hosted" on some site like Photobucket.com. Then you just click on the "insert image" icon above (the little picture in a frame) and paste the URL of the hosted picture in between the

indicators. You can include many this way. Just hit "return" and click the icon again and paste the next URL.

Thanks daguin. I'm somewhat hesitant to post my pictures to a site like this for fear of them being stolen. Is this a valid concern?

If you are afraid someone will steal your pictures, place a watermark on them. They may still steal them, but you can prove that they are yours then.

shows how different cameras can be, mine is almost supersensitive to 405nm, with the pictures often coming out with the laser brighter than it appears to the eye

haha yeah the fog here was crazy! you couldn't see 30 feet in front of you. All night I was wishing my blu ray was working :'(

Wow, you must have had the fog even thicker than me! Sorry to hear your blu-ray isn't working though...

Could you explain what is happening in this phenomenon? Looks like a diverged beam split up into many beams. :S

The laser is being shined through a diffraction grating.

Actually not! No optics were used. This was taken with an 8-second exposure; I moved the laser to different locations and held it there for a short amount of time before moving on.
