All five of mine arrived today. These are fantastic. I love the way you built them. I am sure everyone will love this design. One of your best for certain. Someone asked if this would be good for the 520nm 1w diode. In short, yes, more than adequate. Considering my titanium host has less heat sinking than these and it works fin inside it, this will be perfect for the 520 1 watt. Mine is running at 2.4a and outputting 1.63 watts with a G-9 lens and only gets slightly warm after a 60 second run. Soon four of the five will be getting a 3+ watt 445 driven by X-drive.

My single XL arrived today too. It looks great, the fins do make it look better than is apparent in the photo. A very nice and solid host, very few scratches or dings on mine. Very happy with it so far. :)

I am planning on putting a 1W 520nm in it but it will have to be awhile. :(

Got mine today too ! They made it safe and sound to their new home :) They are both beautiful ! Great work sinner you are a true craftsman. The little one is so cute, I know what I want to do with it but it would be pretty crazy. I can't wait to see what they look like after they are all polished up ! Thank you Sir !

All shipped, sorry about the delay guys been very busy at work lately. I still have maybe 3 or 4 hosts, Also have one more XL host.
For those who already recieved them last week, Has anyone built them yet? :D

Hi! I have just received my XL host ... I have not been able to resist, I have immediately polished it with a finishing copper paste: the result was not a host, but a true jewel !!
Beutiful, rock solid, heavy, and nice machined: only three little scratches on the top, almost perfect!
Nice to found also an extra switch as spare part and an allen wrench.
But I have an important questions:

- I do not see any spring soldered in the pill or behind the switch: how can I have a good contact? The batteries aren't locked in place .. :thinking:

I am 95% thought my Cyperus II XL build as of 7:40pm.

I call this "Lasers in Bloom". Not quite finished yet, but it's name will be Eeny. Meeny, Miney and Moe are on their way, :crackup:
