Maybe it's just me, but I don't find lasers shooting out of tits, or baby's eyes, or most anything, funny.
I don't even consider it art.(sorry,Curiously_Coherent)
I could do this in Photoshop in <5 minutes.
Is it just me?

Somebody fill me in on the allure of this type of photo, please.

I post it here, because frankly it's just plain weird... and it has, um... lazers. :wtf:

The juxtaposition of two usually unrelated things has often been used as a comedic device and it is that very strangeness that renders it funny, or ironic, or moronic, depending on your sense of humour. (ie: Bad grammar and cat pix = lolcats). Some of these things can't be explained, except by sociologists and psychotherapists, no doubt. I can only imagine the Freudian take on this particular meme.

Frankly, I don't believe those weird images are meant to be arousing in any way. They are meant to illicit a chuckle, not be pornographic. Kind of like Pride & Predjudice & Zombies... A mash-up of otherwise conflicting genres interesting only for it's cleverness and unique take on the classic. Although I expect to see one of these pics up on PhotoshopDisasters soon. I agree they are not well done.

I was trying to read too much into it.
I thought there was a deeper underlying symbolic meaning to it all, as I see them everywhere.(Emanating laser pictures)
I get it now. Entertaining just because of the fact that it is weird!
