If you can focus it, it will. You will need safety glasses while burning because you will be pretty close to it. But don't expect it to burn much.

Err... 100mW of focused green burns pretty well. It will light matches, cut electrical tape, pop balloons, etch wood, burn through black plastic, etc...

I ordered a 400mw green laser from O-like in the middle of November and I recieved it around christmas. I am very happy with the laser itself but the battery charger doesn't make contact with the negative end of the battery. From what I've read here on L.P.F. some people got lasers with oblong dots or beams that aren't straight but mine seems to be perfect.

I meant more like it would take more time to do that. It can burn those things, but it may take a little longer than someone new to the hobby might expect.

Yep, and it wont seem like it's burning anything compared to a 1W 445 :crackup:

sooooo true :evil:
but that will have to wait because i believe no one brand new to lasers should own a class 4 laser until they have had experience with lower powered lasers and know of the safety hazards that come along with owning them.

I've been really happy with O-like shipping times so I thought I'd share my experience with my most recent order.

25/01/2011 Ordered a 405nm @ 400mw, 650nm @ 300mw and a pair of safety goggles for each. I used the "best" shipping option and did not pay the extra for DHL.
28/01/2011 Received an update from O-like with tracking # for Singapore Post. This surprised me a little as I'm sure my last order went through Hong Kong Post???
31/01/2011 Item showed up on and was marked as shipped to Canada at the Singapore Post website.
02/02/2011 Item marked as arrived in Canada and held for customs review on the Canada Post website.
??/02/2011 In the past Canada Post and customs takes less then a week to get items to my door once they hit Canada. I should have the package early next week.

I should have my lasers at about 2 weeks from time of order which in my mind is pretty darn fast. Faster then my last order which took only 16 days from time of order. Good job O-like!

I did the cheapest option on a pair of safety goggles. It took about two weeks for the order to even ship out, then a month for it to be delivered to southern New Hampshire. By that time, I had filed a paypal dispute already...

okay so i narrowwed my choices down to o-likes 100mW green foucasable and the 300mW cute red foucasable i dont kno what to get :thinking: so can u guys helpo me out im looking for burning like major burning and being able to see the beam so which one best fits thos thnk guys

if you order a cute 300mW laser DHL will it ship the bettry and charger with it if its incouded bcus it says dosnt ship battery nd charger on the web so i was asuming it dosnt if its a item on its own but if it comes with will it be the same arrival time?

If you get the laser with upgraded shipping the battery will come a day later in another package.
