Hi guys
Bought a few diodes of Alex and a few 5a SXDs of Jordan and the host I'm working on isn't finished so I threw a quick build together using this XM-L T6
Host I've had sitting around for ages,
Don't much like these hosts but have to admitt they make for an easy build if you have the right heatsink,
Did I mention these diodes are awesome,
I ordered 5a adjustables but there was a mixup, I could be overdriving this one and loosing some power, but I'm happy with 7w
My power supply only goes 3a, Time for a new one.

Hi BBB,
looking good pal great driver in pill set up , i see you still have some 900 sinks left from matt. I just bought the rest of his Sky Ray sinks and still have his MX900 sinks to . Great build buddy you always done good work and i enjoy checking out your threads.. Oh i just got those to the cells your using in the mail yesterday, the others ones i had for about 2 years i like them orange litho's

Hey nice beam shots that diode can light up a room my NUBM41 i built is also bright and maxes out at 7+W's and settles in at around 6.8W's to

You have operated them at 4Ampe or 5Ampe---
The output of the m47-A1 can reach 9w while I see your building less than 7W
 
Exactly Billy, besides that, they show an ~10W laser shining on that Ophir sensor for 1 full minute, without any additional heatsinking on the sensor.
IIRC, the limit for the Ophir 20C-A-1-Y is 5W without additional heatsinking, assuming that that is what is being used.

Very nice build, quick and simple, that produce a heck of a lot of photons! That should keep the photon fairy fairly happy for a while. Best wishes with the build your still working on. Looking forward to seeing your next work of art. :gj:
